Today is International Women's Day, commonly known as Women's Day, which we know occurs on 8 March each year to commemorate both the social achievements, political and economic conditions of women, both discrimination and violence that unfortunately they are yet declared in many parts of the world.
I have always fought to give more value to the role of women in society. In local government, in particular, where - compared to national politics - the less room for disputes of principle, which take a more practical approach in the management of public affairs and a more human and concrete, the presence of women may be qualified, I believe even more useful.
My experience as daughter, wife and mother, the commitment to professional and volunteer work, helped me to analyze the company, groped to understand problems and solve them.

I have made it prone to develop a network approach, a culture of power focused on listening, but also decisions on rationality and efficiency. At the same time are an important reference point for the return to a more human scale and to rebuild the deteriorated relationship between politicians and citizens. How to help women? Speaking on the welfare system, which is mainly to help the woman, because it is the women - are increasingly alone - that most affect the home, children, the disabled and the elderly. The Province should coordinate the municipalities in the first place to arrive at real reconciliation of family time, social life with the timing of the work and to promote policies for the family to meet the desire for motherhood that women too often have to give up due to economic problems and the lack of services adequate and a network of social support. The Province, by virtue of their skills in vocational training, must provide assistance to facilitate the entry and retention of women in the labor market, from which at this time of crisis were the first to be expelled. In contrast to them must be ensured redirection of production to contribute to economic recovery.
